Dear Prospective Sponsor,
We would like to thank you for your time and interest in considering to sponsor the V Town Derby Dames. As a league, we will be embarking on celebrating our 3rd year as a team playing under the standardized rules of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). We currently have over thirty registered skaters and several referees and support staff. VTDD is a league formed of talented, community minded and diverse skaters who are committed to excellence both on and off the track.
In order for our league to be successful and to continue the sport of women’s roller derby in our city, we are looking for financial support from individuals and businesses. We rely on donations and sponsorships to cover various expenses that include; venue rental (both practice and game), league participation fees, travel costs, advertising and printing. We host many fundraisers in order to keep our team striving, however, in the long run it is not enough. To help our sport become a long-term endeavor we must seek other financial assistance from businesses and individuals like yourselves.
